COMMENT     bcr is the breakpoint cluster region in the 9:22 chromosomal
            translocation (Philadelphia chromosome) associated with chronic
            myelocytic leukemia.  The unrearranged chromosomal region spans
            about 45 kb with a minimum of 13 exons present. All breakpoints
            studied so far occur within intron sequences.
