COMMENT     A g to a somatic mutation (position 804 of the cDNA) results in a
            Glu to
            Lys replacement in the amino acid sequence.  This mutation
            generates a T
            cell neoepitope recognized by an amplified Tumor-infiltrating
            lymphocyte in
            a melanoma patient in the context of a spontaneous tumor
            regression.
            Except for the mutation, myh-1c is 98% identical in amino acids to
            the rat
            myosin class I myr-1c.
